I really wish that instead of having Korra immediately get her bending back, Asami would have trained her in using her bending training for what it was originally developed for: nonbender martial arts.
I started doing a bunch of thumbnails for the scene as I imagine it, referencing real styles that Korra and Asami might use. Who knows if I’ll ever have time to finish them into a proper comic. XD;
But I thought it would be fun if Asami shocked Korra by putting her in an MMA hold and Korra has no idea how to get out of it, because fighting with bending almost never gets so close range.
